What this site is
This site lists accommodation and bathing facilities in Japan together with what those facilities have told us, in writing or by phone, about a specific policy. We relay what facilities tell us. We do not guarantee that a facility will admit you, and a listing is not a contract between you and the facility.
No guarantee
Policies change without notice and staff on the day may decide differently. Every listing shows the source and the date of our last check; a check that has expired is marked as needing re-check. You are responsible for confirming anything that matters to your trip before you book.
Paid verification
Where offered, a paid verification means that we will contact the facility about the situation you describe and send you their answer in writing. The fee pays for the enquiry, not for a particular outcome. If the facility answers yes and you are nevertheless refused for the reason we asked about, we refund the verification fee on request.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim arising from the use of this site or of a paid verification is limited to a refund of the verification fee paid for the listing concerned. We are not liable for the cost of accommodation, travel, or any indirect loss.
Content
Quotations from facilities' websites and replies are reproduced verbatim with a link to the source, for the purpose of informing travelers. Our own summaries are labeled as ours. If you own the content and want a quotation removed or corrected, write to [VERIFY_EMAIL].
Bookings
Bookings are made on third-party sites under their terms. We may receive a commission; this never affects a status.
